Extracurricular Programs
Art
Our Art program focuses on the exploration of a wide range of materials and mediums through open-ended activities that provide opportunities for enjoyment and self-expression. We place emphasis on process-art rather than product-art and strongly believe in the benefits that it presents to children in the different areas of physical, cognitive, social-emotional, and language development. Children’s individual creativity is stimulated as they make their preferences visible to those around them by having time and space to explore, familiarize and create while discovering basic elements of color, line, shape, form and texture.
Music
Our Music program exposes children to the enjoyment of exploring a wide range of instruments. It also familiarizes them with sounds and rhythms from cultures around the world through fun and engaging weekly classes.
STEAM
Our STEAM program focuses on exposing children to activities that consist of combining multiple disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math). STEAM activities encourage and promote observation, research, reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Physical Education
In our Physical Education program, children will participate in weekly classes carefully planned to stimulate their overall physical development through fun, active and age-appropriate exercises.

Gardening
Our Gardening program is designed to give children the opportunity to experience through weekly visits to the school garden, the planting and growing process of fruits and vegetables. They will learn about the role of the soil in our diet and health and develop an early understanding of the importance of caring for and nurturing our planet. Through this program, children will also learn basic Math and Science concepts.
Early / After School Care
Early Care Hours: 7:00am to 8:00am
After School Care Hours: 4:00pm to 6:00pm
The Learning World at Venetian educational early/after school care complements formal education with engaging and fun learning experiences in its program. The program combines guidance and security with independent exploration to provide children with the freedom and structure they need. Our program offers children a fun and educational environment with a great variety of activities. Hands-on teachers supervise children as they move from throughout the various interest areas.
Fun Spot Enrichment Program
Whether your child is a The Learning World at Venetian student or not, we would like to invite them to participate in one of The Learning World at Venetian after school programs.
