1 – 2 Years Old
Our Pre-K 1 program and classroom environments encourage children to explore and discover the world around them through the use of all their senses, bodies, and curious minds at their own pace.
Our teachers are sensitive to your child’s interests and various levels of development and will stimulate them through books, songs, and carefully planned hands-on activities that support direct exploration of materials and allow individual attention as well as whole-group dynamics. Art, Music, Languages, and Physical Education are incorporated in the Pre-K 1 academic schedule.
Curriculum
Experience Early Learning
Our comprehensive Experience Early Learning curriculum is thoughtfully designed to support the one-to two-year-olds by fostering social-emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development through meaningful, hands-on experiences. The curriculum nurtures curiosity, creativity, and playful discovery while promoting vocabulary acquisition and introducing children to early concepts of numbers and counting, colors, shapes, nature and the world around them, music and movement, creative expression, and everyday social interactions. Through developmentally appropriate activities and intentional teaching, children are provided with engaging opportunities to explore, investigate, discover, and learn through play each day.
TLWA Bright Bambini
Custom-designed cross-curricular program created by The Learning World Academy Doral to support the main preschool curriculum. It is divided by theme of the week, letter, counting, number sense, color, shape, position/concept, pattern, and sight words ( if applicable) by age group.
Extracurricular Programs
Art
Our Art program focuses on the exploration of a wide range of materials and mediums through open-ended activities that provide opportunities for enjoyment and self-expression. We place emphasis on process-art rather than product-art and strongly believe in the benefits that it presents to children in the different areas of physical, cognitive, social-emotional, and language development. Children’s individual creativity is stimulated as they make their preferences visible to those around them by having time and space to explore, familiarize and create while discovering basic elements of color, line, shape, form and texture.
Music
Our Music program exposes children to the enjoyment of exploring a wide range of instruments. It also familiarizes them with sounds and rhythms from cultures around the world through fun and engaging weekly classes.
STEAM
Our STEAM program focuses on exposing children to activities that consist of combining multiple disciplines (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math). STEAM activities encourage and promote observation, research, reasoning and problem-solving skills.
Physical Education
In our Physical Education program, children will participate in weekly classes carefully planned to stimulate their overall physical development through fun, active and age-appropriate exercises.

Early / After School Care
Early Care Hours: 7:00am to 8:00am
After School Care Hours: 4:00pm to 6:00pm
The Learning World at Venetian educational early/after school care complements formal education with engaging and fun learning experiences in its program. As one of the leading preschools in Miami, the program combines guidance and security with independent exploration to provide children with the freedom and structure they need. Our program offers children a fun and educational environment with a great variety of activities. Hands-on teachers supervise children as they move from throughout the various interest areas.
